1.5-acre dog park is fully fenced with some off-street parking. Users must ensure all their dog waste is picked up and deposited in the garbage bin, even if it is hidden under a leaf. This stops the spread of disease among dogs and humans.

To lessen the disturbance on wildlife movement, Parks Canada requested the park be closed during times when wildlife is most active.
